Rocky Mountain Youth Course: Middle School Snow Science

Join us for an exciting day in Rocky Mountain National Park! Get ready to explore the wonders of snow science, where we will dig snow pits, collect data, talk about snow crystals, and more! This hands-on course is designed especially for middle school aged students 6th through 8th grade.

We will all meet at the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center at 8:45 AM where we will board our Conservancy bus and all head into RMNP together. We will meet back at the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center for pickup at 1 PM.

Please bring:

- lots of warm insulating layers, snow pants or bibs highly encouraged

- gloves, mittens, beanies, wool socks, neck gaiter

- nice warm dry closed toed shoes that are snow proof

- plenty of drinking water, snacks, and lunch
